
Owned since 1995 by Mother and Daughter, Ann and Kim Sluter-Robbins, Arnot House is a late Victorian brick-built town house.
With its original plaster coving, marble fireplaces and fine old staircase, Arnot House blends period features and elegant furnishings with modern amenities.
Terms include a full breakfast. Breakfasts are cooked on our lovely claret coloured Aga in the kitchen. Our eggs are from local free-range chickens and our bacon and sausages come from the East Riding.....start with a helping from the cold buffet on the victorian sideboard including fresh fruit salad, stewed fruit, fruit juices and yoghurts. Follow this with either a traditional full English breakfast, a vegetarian option or even scrambled eggs with smoked salmon....
Tea and filter coffee, toast and something "sweet" such as scones, fruit bread, or flapjacks, always acompany the most important meal of the day.
The three individually decorated bedrooms - named after North Yorkshire Abbeys - have either en-suite shower room or a full bathroom with bath and shower. Each has a colour television / dvd, hairdryer, alarm clock radio and hospitality tray as well as a number of other little extras to help you enjoy your stay...
